The PADI Advanced course takes just 2 days at the ocean to complete, no swimming pool, no classroom. After completing this course you have a license to dive with another buddy to a depth of 30 metres.
On the PADI Advanced course, you get to do 5 dives over two days. Two of the 5 dives are mandatory, one being a deep dive to a maximum of 30 metres, the other learning how to use a compass and natural navigation so you can navigate underwater. PADI Advanced course
There are only 2 sections to this course
1) Knowledge development
2) Ocean training dives
Knowledge Development
The knowledge development section of the PADI Adventure Diver program just requires you to read the relevant chapters in the PADI Adventures in Diving E-Manual.
The best way to complete the knowledge is before the course at home in your own time and complete the knowledge reviews so when you turn up there is no studying to do after diving.
Ocean Diving
On each ocean dive, there will be some skills to do followed by practice and normal dive activities tour of the coral reefs/wrecks.
The Pattaya dive sites are particularly good for the PADI Advanced Open water training dives due to the fact that they offer ideal training conditions such as a number of coral dives, wreck dives and deep dive sites enabling you to get the maximum out of the experience.
Generally, we will do the deep adventure dive as the first dive on the second day of the course.
After completing the PADI Advanced diver course your next step in the PADI system is the Rescue Diver course or PADI Specialty courses.
