Over the past 20 years of living in Thailand I have seen many people with good jobs, pack up everything, sell everything else, board a flight to a foreign country, do you know why? The answer is to become a PADI Dive Instructor. These people made the greatest lifestyle decision one can make. I did it myself back in 1996 and have never looked back and now I’m not only a Dive Instructor who has taught thousands of divers at tropical islands, dived great coral and shipwreck dive sites, met many friends of all walks of life but now I run my own PADI 5 STAR dive center and would like to teach you how to make the best of a great thing.

Pattaya, Thailand is a great place to work as a PADI Dive Instructor as we have over 12 coral islands with great coral reefs and 4 different shipwrecks to dive and teach PADI courses from beginner divers to Professional levels. Pattaya is also the busiest location in Thailand with millions of tourists coming every year mainly because we have the best weather in Thailand and can dive all year round, it was one of the main reasons I decided to open my dive center here.

This means finding work after becoming a PADI Dive Instructor isn’t a problem especially with our knowledge of the whole of Thailand and different places you can work in South East Asia. PADI also has a worldwide job search for all there professionals.

Covid 19 is causing a problem getting into Thailand because at the moment there is a quarantine process which is 10 to 14 days. Most of our IDC candidates are making use of this time by completing their PADI elearning for the IDC and studying for their Instructor exams while in quarantine.

To be able to enroll in a PADI IDC Instructor course you must be a renewed PADI Divemaster with the Emergency first responder certification up to date within the past 2 years.

The PADI IDC (Instructor development course) (8 DAYS): We teach you how to become a dive Instructor and go through all the PADI courses that you will be able to teach, through PADI course standards, class, pool, ocean sections plus exams.

The PADI IE (Instructor examination) (2 DAYS) A PADI examiner will come to Pattaya and has a look at your class, pool, ocean and exam sessions. This will decide if you are going to be a PADI Dive Instructor, Real Divers have a 100% pass rate.

Once the PADI Instructors exams have been completed you can teach all PADI courses from PADI Open water diver to PADI Divemaster. We also teach PADI Instructor specialty courses, Master scuba diver Internships plus IDC Staff Instructor courses which can be completed after the Instructor examination.

As a PADI dive Instructor you will have a license to teach anywhere in the world and there are lots of jobs in Thailand and South East Asia where we can help you get employment through ourselves, PADI so you can have that dream job.
